Signs

All our signs are cut from high quality vinyl. This professional product is ideal for affixing to many smooth surfaces such as glass, plastic and metal. When applied correctly it will last for 5 to 7 years.

General Application Instructions

  1. Make sure the surface is clean and dry
  2. Carefully remove sticker & protective application film from backing paper ensuring that nothing is left behind
  3. Position sticker (still covered by the film) onto the desired area and gently rub over with a credit card, squeegee or antgraphics sign applicator
  4. Carefully remove application film

Specific Application for car windscreen application

  1. Clean the windscreen thoroughly and then wet the glass with a 'flower spray' (Use water with a couple of drops of washing up liquid added)
  2. Carefully remove sun strip from backing paper and wet the sticky side with the above solution
  3. Attach to the wet windscreen and slide into a position that you are happy with (It might be helpful to use pieces of masking tape to mark the correct position before you wet the windscreen)
  4. Lightly wet the top of the sun strip (to prevent it scratching) and then begin to remove the water trapped underneath with a credit card or squeegee or antgraphics applicator. As the water is expelled the sun strip sticks to the glass
  5. Carefully trim the sun strip to fit the windscreen shape with a sharp craft knife or a razor blade

Please note

Do not use your wipers or wash your car until the sun strip is completely dry. This normally occurs with 24 hours; however in cold or damp conditions it may be required to assist the drying process with a hairdryer.

Disclaimer

This product is manufactured using high quality 5/7 year vinyl. When applied correctly it will stay on the windscreen for 5/7 years. Therefore unfortunately any loss or damage to this product will be due to incorrect fitting and a replacement will not be provided.
